How I got here

My journey started in software engineering and R&D leadership. I spent years leading teams trying to ship faster, coordinate better, and actually connect what we were building to what the business needed. The friction was real — long feedback loops, misaligned priorities, teams drowning in coordination overhead while strategy waited.

Discovering Kanban and Scrum felt like finding a language for something I had been struggling to articulate. I went deep — not just as a practitioner, but as someone who wanted to understand why these approaches work and where they fall short. I became one of the first Lean Kanban practitioners in Israel and later moved to Boston to work with organizations at the frontier of scaled agility.

Over time I realized most agility failures aren't about choosing the wrong framework. They're about applying a framework without understanding the underlying principles — optimizing for compliance rather than outcomes. That insight shaped everything: I work at the intersection of SAFe, Kanban, Scrum, OKRs, and product thinking because real organizations need optionality, not orthodoxy.

Today I advise product and technology leaders on the decisions that actually move the needle: how to structure portfolios, build operating models that scale without killing agility, and connect daily work to strategic outcomes. I've co-created frameworks (Professional Scrum with Kanban), contributed to SAFe as a Fellow, and helped organizations from CyberArk's startup days through IPO, to global enterprises like P&G and CME Group.

When I'm not working with clients, I'm writing, podcasting, and thinking out loud about what actually works — and why.

Why the intersection matters

Most agile experts go deep in one lane. I've deliberately stayed at the crossroads — and clients tell me that's what makes the difference.

🔀

SAFe × Kanban × Scrum

The ability to move between frameworks means I can meet organizations where they are — not where the textbook says they should be.

📊

OKRs × Flow × Portfolio

Few consultants can connect portfolio Kanban, lean budgeting, Evidence-based Management, and OKRs into a coherent system. That breadth is rare.

🏭

Product × Engineering × Business

I speak all three languages — from daily standups to C-suite strategy. That fluency closes the gap between transformation aspiration and ground-level reality.

🤖

AI × Agility

I help organizations treat AI as a product capability — with the same rigor, feedback loops, and outcome focus as any strategic initiative.

🏢

Startup → Enterprise

I have guided companies from seed-stage agility (CyberArk's IPO journey) to enterprise transformation at scale (CME Group, P&G, NEC, Siemens).

🎯

Principles over practices

When you understand why the principles work, you stop needing permission from frameworks. Organizations gain adaptability, not dependence.

What clients say

Engagements that changed how organizations deliver — in their own words

“Yuval is, without question, the best Lean/Agile partner I have ever worked with. By reorganizing scattered teams into clear value streams and introducing practical, context-aware agility, we turned a reactive culture into one built on flow and ownership. Within months, budgeted hours dropped by 25%, on-time delivery was restored, and our capacity expanded from one active contract to nine in parallel. Quality and customer satisfaction soared, and engineers finally had the headspace to innovate again.”
